Due to overwhelming response...we'll postpone this week's matches to the end of the season. I'll redo the schedule to show this. Thanks guys...and have a Happy Easter. Get ready for battle next weekend. And try to bring your teammates! These 1vs3 matches suck :)

Updated TPL scores with week 4 results.

I figured this was eventually going to happen, but now I'm making an official rule on the policy of playing on more than one league team. The abuse on this policy was a bit disappointing during this week's matches.

Players wanting to play in the League can ONLY play for ONE team from now on. I'm also holding team captains responsible for making sure this is enforced. This means 2nd handles cannot play for any League team. For example, if PlayerA is currently on the MC roster, and his second handle is on the Fubar roster...this is a violation. You must pick one handle and one team. BOPS will use the #info command prior to the start of matches to catch violators.

Players caught using a second handle on another League team will be expelled from the League. Also, the player's team will be forced to play their match a man down for the entire duration of the match. AND the team captain will be suspended for the next week's match. The reason for the team captain's punishment is because he is taking part of this violation by inviting the player's 2nd handle to his team.

Also, starting after the next week's matches, rosters will be frozen. This is to prevent players from joining a team, playing the match, then quitting the team, and joining another team within that same day. So, on Saturdays, team captains will post their week's lineup at tanleague.com (in the TPL Main section). This lineup will consist of up to 8 players that will play for the team, and ONLY the players submitted in the lineup will be allowed to play that Sunday.

One final thing...watch the chat fouls! Rememeber you cannot have more than 2 lines of chat (in open chat) within a span of 30 seconds. Even if your chat is:

Player A - "What's the score?"
Xin - "17-17"
Player A - "We're coming back!"
Player A - "LOL"

or

Player A - "uh"
Player A - "oh"
Player A - " :) "

Those are chat fouls. You might think I'm nitpicky, but I created this rule because I don't want to miss a kill when everyone's chatting it up. I mark all kills and deaths on a sheet of paper, so I'm not staring at the chat window all the time...with too much chatting, I can easily miss a kill (which has happened before).

Alright, thanks guys...oh and stats will be updated tomorrow as I'm feeling too sick to work on them tonight.

I have determined the 6 teams that will be a part of the TPL, and they are:

Break the Cycle
Caribean Killers
Fatal Error
Fubar
Maximum Carnage
No Fear

If you or your team did not make the League, I'm sorry...please do not take offense. You all still have an opportunity to play in the League. All you have to do is join one of the above teams. Team captains are listed at www.tanleague.com as well as the schedule (first match starts on the 26th).

Team captains, if you want a private forum on the tanleague website, simply post on the messageboard there, and I'll create a private board for you to moderate. Any other questions feel free to post here, email me, or post at tanleague.com. Thanks guys and good luck!
